Launching Ceremonies for “Sports Legacy” Pilot Scheme
Officiated by Mr. PANG Chung, SBS, Hon. Secretary General of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (Federation) and Mr. Kai Chi-on, General Manager of Corporate Services Department of the Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK), the “Sports Legacy” Pilot Scheme was successfully launched today (i.e. 17 February 2012) at two pilot schools, namely; Queen Elizabeth School Old Students’ Association Tong Kwok Wah Secondary School and Tin Shui Wai Heung To Middle School, through the cooperation agreement signing ceremony. In appreciation of the generous donation of BOCHK in supporting retired athletes’ education and career development, and also the two pilot schools’ participation, the Federation presented the “EVERONWARD – 60 Years of Sporting Excellence” Special Publication to the Principals of the two pilot schools from Tin Shui Wai as souvenirs.

Hong Kong, 7 January 2012: The Oscar of the Sports Fraternity - The Bank of China Hong Kong Sports Stars Award 2011 (the Awards) held a Press Conference today at Times Square, Causeway Bay, to kick off the Online Public Voting. The Awards is supported by BOCHK Charitable Foundation, as the Title Sponsor, organized by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
